Smelled like garbage in the parking lot. Produce looked sad. Fish department made me gag. This place is not for me. Although I did rescue 2 plants

If you are looking for pretty much anything carribean, this place has it. Plus a good variety of fresh fish in the back to choose from. They clean and cut them after you make your selection. Been coming here for years. Prices are reasonable and I always find what I need

Great ethnic selection of items that are not generally available in most supermarkets. Customers described the foods as “island food”, “Spanish food”, “Island style vegetables “, “down south ingredients “, and “back home kind of food.” (All actual quotes) I go primarily for the freshest fish I can buy in Connecticut. I am not qualified to rate the quality of the vegetables although they look really interesting. The customers who recognized the more exotic offerings generally praised the availability and quality. This store has the absolutely largest selection of Goya products that I have ever seen. I can’t imagine what they might have missed. While it is not the perfect store, it gets FIVE stars for the fish, for the selection of exotic ingredients and for the shopping experience.
